Ambassadors To A Greater Authority

"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors…"
(2 Corinthians 5:20, NIV)

As believers in Jesus, we are called to be His ambassadors or representatives in the earth. In the natural, ambassadors are privileged. They are diplomats with the highest rank. They walk in the authority of the name of the one who sent them.
As God's ambassadors on this earth, we walk in His power and authority. We are to promote relationship with Him. The Bible also calls us "ministers of reconciliation," which means we are the ones to bring the message of hope in Jesus to the world. When you see yourself as God's ambassador, it will change the way you think. It will change the way you act. It will change the way you approach people.
Today, remember, that you are a representative of Almighty God. Look for ways to promote relationship with Him. Speak words of healing that will draw people. Show kindness because it's His kindness that leads people to repentance. Look for ways to bless others as we work together to build His kingdom.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing me as Your ambassador. Help me to understand the authority You've given me. Show me ways to reach out and be a blessing to others and build Your kingdom in the earth. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Brand New Times And Seasons Are Here

"He changes times and seasons..."
(Daniel 2:21, NIV)

God is always looking to take us to higher levels. He wants us to grow and increase in every area. Change is often a catalyst for growth in our lives, and it keeps up from getting stuck in a rut. To help keep us on our path toward our destiny, God will supernaturally open and close doors of opportunity. He will "stir us" out of comfortable situations and stretch us because He loves us too much to allow us to live in mediocrity.
Do you know how an eaglet learns to fly? That mother eagle will take her eaglet to the very highest point—way out of its comfort zone—and then she just releases it. As the eaglet falls, the mother swoops down and picks it back up again. She does this over and over until the eaglet spreads its wings and soars through the air.
That's what God wants for you today. He wants you to soar in life! You might feel like that eaglet learning to fly, but know that God is right there with you! He is bringing you new times and seasons so that you will rise higher and embrace the very best He has in store for you.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Dear God, today I open my heart and mind to receive all that You have for me. I trust that You are with me directing my every step. I embrace Your seasons of change and thank You for helping me grow and increase in every area. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

With God You Can Agree

"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"

(Amos 3:3, NKJ).

Are you going through a difficult time today? We all experience setbacks and obstacles in this life, but don't make the mistake of allowing those challenges to change your perspective. You can't go around thinking that those problems are insurmountable because negative thinking will keep you in bondage.

Did you know that when you're negative, you're in agreement with the enemy? But when you have a positive attitude according to what the Word says, then you're in agreement with God. You and God are a majority. When you agree with God, all things are possible.

Today, instead of going around thinking about your problems, cast down those thoughts and start dwelling on the fact that Almighty God, the Creator of the universe is on your side. Declare today that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Declare that He is fighting your battles. Declare that victory is on its way. Get into agreement with God and pave the way for His supernatural blessing in your life.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for Your truth that sets me free. I choose to submit my thoughts to You and come into agreement with Your Word. Help me to keep my mind stayed on You and Your victory no matter what may come my way. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Power Of Our Words

Believe in what you say.
The power of our thoughts.
The power of our words
and the power of acting out in faith on what we believe.
We've got say who we are.
We are blessed.
Say it everyday, 'I am BLESSED!'
Repeat as often as possible in the things you say.
And pretty soon as you start to believe it, everyone else will start to believe.
Don't focus on what's on the outside.
Focus on the good things that are coming to you and through you for you by the way of the Lord.
Let it touch your spirit in every way possible.
Don't give up. Just keep on, keepin' on!

Get Ready To Put Things Into Action

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ”

(Philemon 1:6, NLT)

The Bible tells us that faith without works is dead. If we don’t put our faith into action, it’s not really faith; it’s just nice ideas. You see, when God truly does a work in our lives, it affects everything about us. It affects our words, our thoughts and our actions. How do you know someone is generous? By their generous actions. How do you know someone is kind? By their kind actions. How do you know someone is gentle? By their gentle actions. How do you know someone is a follower of Christ? By their Christ-like actions.

Can people tell by your actions that you belong to God? We all have areas where we can come up higher, but as believers in Jesus, we can be confident that God is at work in us. He is faithful and will complete what He started. As we invite Him to search our hearts and minds, as we surrender every area of our heart to Him and put our faith into action, He will finish His perfect work in us!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for changing me, for making me more like You. I invite Your love to do a work in my heart so that You are reflected in everything I say and do. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Esteem Together-Enjoy Each Other In Christ

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us...”
(Ephesians 5:2, AMP)

TODAY’S WORD

In today’s culture, we don’t often hear the word esteem used very much, yet, scripture tells us to esteem and delight in one another. One definition of esteem is to hold in high regard. That means we are to honor and value one another. Even if we don’t always agree with one another, even if they don’t necessarily act honorably, we are to honor and esteem others because they are valuable in the eyes of God.
Think of it this way: if you had a costly and valuable piece of jewelry, you wouldn’t just wear it to the gym or leave it on the kitchen sink. No, you would treat it carefully. You would put it in a safe place and protect it. Well, when we see others as valuable the way God sees them, we will treat them carefully as well. We should be careful in the way we talk to others. We should look for the good in them and honor them for who God made them to be.
The Bible tells us that the way we treat others is like sowing seed, and it will come back to you. Choose to esteem and delight in one another. Sow good seeds, and you will see a harvest of blessing in your own life in return!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, today I choose love. I choose to honor the people around me. Help me to see the value in others the way You see the value in me. Help me to esteem and delight in others with my actions and words so that I can be an example of Your love and light. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Whatever You Do Today, Find Peace

Find Peace Today

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You"

(Isaiah 26:3, NKJ)

Do you need more peace in your life today? Are you frustrated or upset over something or fighting off discouragement? The first question to ask yourself is "What am I thinking about?"

If you're thinking about your problems all the time or how impossible everything is, then your life is going to follow that negative direction. But, when you get your mind going in the right direction, when you focus your mind on the Word of God, then you are setting yourself in the direction of peace.

Today, choose to keep your mind focused on the Father. Be empowered by meditating on His Word. As you set your thoughts in the right direction, your life will head down the path of peace and victory He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for peace today. I receive it as a comforting blanket to my heart, my mind and my emotions. I choose to focus on Your Word today. Direct my steps and guard me by Your peace. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Your Body Will Always Be Dead...

because of sin. But if Christ is in you, then the Spirit gives you life, because Christ made you right with God.

                                                                                                                                          -Romans 8:10

-
That is why it is in important that you let the Spirit dwell within you.

So What Does All This Mean?

Those who are not Jews were not trying to make themselves right with God, but they were made right with God because of their faith.

                                                                                                                                        -Romans 9:30

-
Indeed this puts things into certain perspective with regards to separation. If you were not a Jew it was thought you did not stand a chance to receive the blessings that God had for the you since the Jews were the chosen people. But after the apostles were going around and teaching the Good News and Peter baptized 3000, it was asked if anyone could stop these people from receiving the goodness of God. As long as one obedient to His commands, meditate day and night and wholeheartedly believes in the actions of God, he wil receive his blessings. Maybe not in the fastest time but a thousand days is like 1 hour to God!

The Law Was Without Power...

because the law was made weak by our sinful selves. But God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son to earth with the same human life that others use for sin. By sending his Son to be an offering to pay for sin, God used a human life to destroy sin. He did this so that we could be the kind of people the law correctly wants us to be. Now we do not live following our sinful selves, but we live following the Spirit.

                                                                                                                                        -Romans 8:3-4

-
This answers a lot of the elusive mystery regarding why God did what he did regarding His very own Son who offered the BIGGEST sacrifice anyone could have ever imagined!

But When The Kindness and Love Of God...

our Savior was shown, he saved us because of His mercy. It was no because of the good deeds we did to be right with him. He saved us through the washing that made us new people through the Holy Spirit.

                                                                                                               -Titus 3:4-5

One Man Sinned...

so death ruled all people because of that one man (Adam). But now those people who accept God's full grace and great gift of being made right with him will surely have true life and rule through one man, Jesus Christ.

                                                                                                                                        -Romans 5:17

But People Cannot Do Any Work...

that will make them right with God. So they must TRUST in him, who makes even evil people right in his sight. Then God accepts their faith, and that makes them right with him.

                                                                                                                                              -Romans 4:5

-

Trust is the key word here. We must trust in Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.

And This One Very Important Thing We Need To Realize...

All have sinned and are not good enough for God's glory, and all need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ. God gave him as a way to forgive sin through faith in the blod of Jesus' death. This showed that God always does what is right and fair, as in the past when he was patient and did not punish people for their sins. And God gave Jesus to show today that he does what is right. God did this so he could judge rightly and so he could make right any person who has faith in Jesus.

                                                  -Romans 3:23-26

-

Did you understand this Scripture? Go back and read it again. Ask for understanding and it will come because when you finally get it, the Spirit will be within you. Just let that Spirit of God's Goodness awash you. It's an amazing revelation in this great time of immediate action that comes with the hope that His Word will be fulfilled.

God Makes People Right...

with himself through their faith in Jesus Christ. This is true for all who believe in Christ, because all people are the same.

                                                                                                                              -Romans 3:22

-

And because God has the ability to change us from within makes it even more clear his AWESOME POWER in everyday, regular routine matters.

So what does this say? That we should know that Jesus is our righteousness.

So Here We See In Galatians 3:6-7

The Scriptures say the same thing about Abraham: "Abraham believed God, and God accepted Abraham's faith, and that faith made him right with God." So you should know that the true children of Abraham are those who have faith.

-

So here you might see that there is a quantuum leap from discovering who has faith and who doesn't. Who might belong to the lineage of Abraham.
There is a lot to be said and reflected upon in just this one scripture.

And So Paul Goes On To Say...

I think that all things are worth nothing compared with the greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of him, I have lost all those things, and now I know they are worthless trash. This allows me to have Christ and to belong to him. Now I am right with God, not because I followed the law, but because I believed in Christ. God uses my faith to make me right with him.

                                                                                                    -Philippians 3:8-9

Because Of God

you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God. In Christ we are put right with God, and have been made holy, and have been set free from sin.

                                                                               -1 Corinthians 1:30

JESUS IS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

Christ had no sin, but God made him become sin so that in Christ we could become right with God.

                                                                                                                       -2 Cornithians 5:21

God's Grace For Today

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"Give us this day our daily bread…"

(Matthew 6:11, NKJ).

God has grace in store for you every single day. Grace is His supernatural empowerment, His unmerited favor on your life. All throughout scripture, we see God giving daily grace, empowerment and provision to His people. For example, when the people of Israel were in the wilderness headed toward the Promised Land, God gave them manna each morning to eat. It would just appear on the ground. But, He specifically instructed them to gather up only enough for one day's supply. In fact, if they got more than that, it wouldn't last. It would spoil. They were learning to trust God's grace every single day.

In the same way, God doesn't give us grace for a year at a time or even a month at a time. No, every 24 hours God has a fresh, new supply of grace, favor, wisdom and forgiveness. How are you going to make it through the seasons of your life? One day at a time. Look for His grace today. Look for His provision today. Look for His hand of favor and blessing today because He promises to supply everything you need for today.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for Your grace and favor on my life today. I know that You have a fresh supply of everything that I need—physically, spiritually and emotionally—today. Help me to trust You more as I seek Your face. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

One Blessing after Another

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another"
(John 1:16, NIV).

TODAY'S WORD

God wants to pour out His blessing and favor upon you each and every day. It says in the Psalms that He daily loads us with benefits! So many people miss out on all that God has for them because they are weighted down by guilt and condemnation. But notice what today's verse tells us about where His blessings come from—the fullness of His grace.
God's grace is His unmerited favor. That means we can't earn it. We can't work for it, and we can't change His mind about it. He pours out His blessing on us not because of what we do, but because of who He is. His blessings are based on His goodness, not ours.
Today, receive His grace. Receive His forgiveness. Let go of guilt and condemnation. Open your heart and mind to what God wants to do in your life and get ready because He is pouring out His goodness upon you with one blessing after another!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, I choose to receive Your grace today which is Your supernatural empowerment. I release guilt and condemnation and receive Your love and forgiveness. Search my heart, O God. Renew me and cleanse me by Your Word. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

The LORD says, 'Come...

let's talk about these things. Though your sins are like scarlet, they can still be as white as snow. Though your sins are deep red, they can be white like wool."

                                                                                                                                       -Isaiah 1:18

This is what the LORD said to Jerimiah

They sinned against me, but I will wash away that sin. They did evil and turned away from me, but I will forgive them.

Hold Fast & Don't Let Go

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised)”

(Hebrews 10:23, KJV)

“Hold fast” is not a phrase we often use in this culture. But in the original Greek, hold fast means not only to embrace, but to embrace with force as if someone is trying to take something from you. In other words, you’ve got to have a firm grip or you’re going to lose out! And notice what we are supposed to hold fast to — our profession, our declaration of faith.

I like to think of it sort of like a tug of war. You’re on one end and the enemy is on the other. He’s trying to pull that rope out of your hand. He’s trying to steal your hope and get you to speak negative words of doubt and unbelief. But you’ve got to be determined and stand strong. You’ve got to persevere and hold fast. Don’t let the enemy pull the seed of faith out of your heart! You might need to dig your heals in and get a new grip, but don’t you dare let go! Keep speaking words of faith. Keep speaking words of hope. Keep declaring God's Word and keep holding fast to the profession of your faith!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, today I choose to hold fast to my profession of faith in You. I know that You are faithful, and I believe that You will complete everything that You’ve started in my life. I bless You and magnify You above all else. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

When You Were Spiritually Dead...

because of your sins and because you were not free from the power of your sinful self, od made you alive with Christ, and he forgave all of your sins.

                                                                                                     -Colossians 2:13

So When You Are Praying....

if you are angry with someone, forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also forgive your sins.

                                                                                          -Mark 11:25

-
We try to reason things and think, 'Oh, it's really hard to forgive....' and maybe so. But when we think it through, really, really think it out, it is possible to rid ourselves of further pain and anguish.

Take Note of Colossians...

Get along with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you.

                                                -Colossians 3:13

-

What does this one Scripture speak to you about? How does it make you feel after realizing some really important things you need to address; come to complete grips with? To me it just grabs my thoughts on how I can be angry at someone, hold onto that anger for what seems a really long time-but in realizing this, it simply says, 'Let it go. Let God.' And not only that, but just like the time when I did something wrong and I was forgiven. You are forced to look at both sides and decide how you are going to internalize things that do you no good to hold onto. That anger or resntment? Let it go!

Isaiah gave them this warning...

The wicked should stop doing wrong, and they should stop their evil thoughts. They should return to the Lord so he may have mercy on them. They should come to our God, because he will freely forgive them.

                                                                                                                                              -Isaiah 55:7

Trying Out My New Twitter button...seing if it works

Still Knowing Forgiveness

I will forgive them for the wicked things they did, and I will not remember their sins anymore.

Choose To Walk On The Right Path

"The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day"

(Proverbs 4:18, NLTT).

Are you facing a situation that seems dark today? As a believer, God promises that your path will shine brighter and brighter as you seek His truth and righteousness in every situation in your life.

How do you seek righteousness? Righteousness is simply being in right standing with God. When you submit your life to Him and choose to obey His commands, you are seeking His righteousness, and you are on the path of the righteous! Just like today's verse says, the light of God's Word will shine brighter and brighter and will guide you in every decision you have to make.

Today, take time to ask the Lord to shine His light on you. Ask Him to confirm His plan for you. When you make His Word a priority in your life, you will experience more of His blessings. You'll see those brighter days as you move forward in the good plan He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, I know that You have a wonderful plan and purpose for me. I desire to be in right standing with You. Show me Your ways and teach me to walk righteously before You. Shine Your light in my heart and give me strength to pursue the path You have in store for me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

It's An Invasion-I Tell Ya!

Hi Tech Gadgets

You Were Chosen

For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world…"

(Ephesians 1:4, NIV).

God chose you before the foundations of the earth. Before the worlds were ever formed, He knew you. And, He didn't create you to be average. He didn't create you to barely get by. No, He created you to excel! Not only has He chosen you, but He has equipped you with everything you need to live His abundant life. He has deposited seeds of greatness inside every person. But in order to tap into those seeds of greatness, you have to believe this and act on it.

Too many people today are going around with low self-esteem, feeling inferior like they don't have what it takes. They are living a lie. And as long as we have a poor self-image, we're not going to experience God's best. In order to be all that God has called us to be, we have to see ourselves as chosen, valuable and victorious.

Today, meditate on this truth. Let it sink down deep into your heart. Let it build confidence and security in you. As you understand your value, you'll rise up higher and higher into the life of victory He has prepared for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for choosing me. Thank You for equipping me. Help me to see myself the way You see me. Show me Your ways that I may walk with You in confidence and trust all the days of my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Fruit Of Your Words

Did you know that your words are like seeds? They have creative power. In the future, we will eat the fruit of our words. That means our words are going to produce exactly what we're saying.

That's why it's so important to make positive declarations over our lives every single day. We should say things like "I am blessed. I am prosperous. I am healthy. I am talented. I am creative. I am wise." When we do this, we are standing in agreement with God's Word. We are sowing good seed. We are preparing our future for when we arrive.

Today, make sure you are sowing good seed with your words. Speak God's Word which is truth that will set you free. Let His Word fill your heart and mind and direct your mouth with what to say. Set yourself up for success in your future and pave the way for victory with your thinking.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for Your Word which is truth that sets me free. Help me to guard my words and sow good seed into my future. I choose to hide Your Word in my heart. Keep me close to You and direct my steps. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Make The Best Connections

Do you know how important it is to be connected to the right people? Your destiny is too big to accomplish on your own. But God has already arranged for certain people to speak faith into you. He has already placed in your path people who will inspire you, challenge you and help you accomplish your dreams. But the reason some people never reach their highest potential is because they never get away from the wrong people.

Recognize today that not everyone can go where God is taking you. You've got to connect with people who understand your destiny and can call forth your seeds of greatness. You don't have time to spend on people who are always pushing you down, telling you what you can't do, or never giving you their approval no matter how hard you try. Friend, life is too short to drag people along. If you will get the wrong people out of your life, then God will bring in the right people so you can fulfill the destiny He has in store for you.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for placing the right people in my life. Help me to discern the right connections You have for me. Give me strength to release the wrong relationships so I have room in my life for the people You have chosen to connect with me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Do you realize you have treasure on the inside of you? You could say that your pearls are what God has given you to be a blessing to the world around you—your gifts, talents and abilities. When you get around true friends, people who really believe in you, they won't be jealous of your gifts. They won't constantly question who you are. They won't try to talk you out of your dreams. It will be just the opposite. They'll help you polish your pearls, develop your pearls, enhance your pearls, and grow your pearls. In other words, they'll give you ideas. They'll connect you with people they know. They'll help push you further along. If you stay around people who don't value your gifts nor appreciate what you have to offer, that's casting your pearls among swine.

Your inner circle, those who are closest to you, should be people who celebrate who you are; people who are happy when you succeed. They should be people who believe the very best in you. Remember, it's not the quantity of friends that's important, it's the quality of friends. Choose your friends wisely so you can be all that God has called you to be.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gifts, talents and abilities You have given to me. Help me to recognize the treasure within. Give me wisdom to discern the right relationships You have ordained for me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

But If We Confess Our Sins...

He will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done.

                                                                                                                                             -1 John 1:9

-

This can be tough for some because of our transgressions. For others not so much because we are willing to be obedient and follow the commands to the letter! It amazes me; faith. What it takes to get there and truly break down all barriers and make good on what we say and on what we do.

In 1 John 2:1, Paul writes to his followers...

My dear children, I write this letter to you so you will not sin. But anyone who does sin, we have a helper in the presence of the Father-Jesus Christ, the one who does what is right.

It Is Known To The Believer

He has taken our sins away frrom us as far as the east is from west.

                                                                           -Psalm 103:12

If Anyone Belongs To Christ...

there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new!

                                                                                                                  -2 Corinthians 5:7

In Psalm 85:2, David says

You forgave the guilt of the people and covered all their sins.

JESUS IS YOUR FORGIVENESS...

Because of his love, God already decided to make us his own children through Jesus Christ. That was what he wanted and what pleased him, and it brings praise to God because of his wonderful grace. God gave that grace to us freely, in Christ, the one he loves. In Christ we are set free by the blood of his death, and so we have forgiveness of sins. How rich is God's grace!

                                                                                                                                    -Ephesians 1:5-7

The Strength Of Integrity

Integrity is a powerful attribute in the life of the believer. Integrity means that you are dependable. You are a person of your word. You’re consistent and honest.

You might say, “Oh, I’m a pretty good person. I do the right thing most of the time.” But understand, it’s the little foxes that spoil the vine. You can veer off course just a little bit, and before you know it, you’re miles away from your destination. Don’t allow the little things to keep you from your destiny; choose integrity — even when no one is looking. For instance, you might need some paper at home, but you shouldn’t take supplies from the office. Or, you might be running into a store for just a minute, but don’t park in the handicap parking spot unless you’re supposed to. If the checkout clerk makes a mistake and gives you too much money back, that’s not God’s provision, that’s a test of integrity!

Remember, if you’ll be faithful and choose integrity in the little things, God will make you ruler over much. Be a person of integrity and open the door for God’s blessing and honor all the days of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, today I commit to live a life of integrity. I choose a life of excellence and ask for Your hand of favor. Show me any area that is not pleasing to You so that I can continue to grow and increase in You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

This Time Is Even Greater Than The Past

God wants to amaze you with His goodness! We are living in a day where God is increasing His favor. Maybe you have seen God's goodness to a certain degree. In reality, you haven't seen anything yet! God has favor in your future that will supersede anything that you've seen in the past.

The Scripture talks about how the glory of the latter day will be greater than the glory of the former day. That means what God did for your parents or grandparents, He's going to surpass in your generation. The blessing and favor of past generations was good, but we serve a God of increase! He has greater things in store for your future!

Today, I encourage you to get your hopes up. I encourage you to enlarge your vision. Be expecting God to bring opportunities across your path. Be expecting to meet the right people and get the right breaks. Prepare your heart and mind to receive the increase and blessing God has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for being the God of increase. I trust that You have great things in store for my future. I surrender every area of my mind, will and emotions as I wait on You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
